Parks Victoria guide to Southern Circuit overnight hikes to view the walk map and plan your route and overnight stays.

Option 1: Total distance 35.5km
Leave the car park with a steady climb to Windy Saddle and then downhill through a beautiful ferny glade and forest along Sealers Track to Sealers Cove. Enjoy the great views along the coast between Sealers and Refuge Cove then climb steeply over Kersops Peak to Little Waterloo Bay. From there, follow the shoreline over sand dunes and swamps to Telegraph Track, where a steady climb takes you back up to the car park.

Option 2: Total distance 52.8km
Take Option 1 as far as Little Waterloo Bay and then follow the coastal track to the lighthouse. After leaving the lighthouse, take Telegraph Track back through the Prom's undulating interior to the car park.

Getting there: Take the South Gippsland Highway (A440) from Melbourne, turning south at Meeniyan (C444). Follow the signs to the National Park entrance. From there, travel 30km into the Park and turn left into the well signposted road up to Telegraph Saddle just before you reach Tidal River. During summer a bus operates between Tidal River and Telegraph Saddle.
